The ECD Network
Project Overview
The ECD Network (NPC) is a low-cost early childhood development coordination model . It strengthens existing ECD centres by connecting them into a shared support system focused on compliance, governance, and operational improvement, without requiring new infrastructure or large-scale capital investment.
The model uses a lightweight coordination approach led by one full-time facilitator and supported by volunteers, universities, and community partners. Centres are organised into a shared database and peer network to improve access to support, information, and compliance pathways.
The core idea is simple: better coordination, not more construction, is what improves ECD outcomes at scale.
